B1G Power Rankings Week Three

- Iowa: Offense took SOME steps…have a great opportunity for more development this week in practice and then next week against a very beatable Colorado State team, who did beat Toledo, a top three MAC team. Kent State is also a Top Three MAC team. I still think Colorado State would lose to Kent State by two touchdowns.
- Penn State: Two wins against ranked teams, a much better defense and offense this year than last and the Nits are legit Big Ten East contenders
- Ohio State: Meh, OK. Fought off a hangover against a solid Tulsa team, but their defense remains a question
- Wisconsin: Bye
- Michigan State: Very nice win at Miami, probably should have them higher.
- Michigan: They play Rutgers this weekend then travel to Madison in two weeks. We will know who they are then
- Minnesota: VERY impressive 30-0 win at Colorado, and Buffs didn’t crack 100 yards of offense
- Rutgers: Really not sure who they are yet, but they are better than pre-Schiano Rutgers
- Maryland: Very fortunate that Bret Bielema choked as a coach in this game
- Indiana: Hoosiers lose a close one to a Top Ten team. Not the start they hoped for
- Nebraska: Can you have moral victories in year four of a coaching change?
- Purdue: They are paying Jeff Brohm a LOT of money to be a .500 program
- Illinois: See above. Bret choked
- Northwestern: Wow. Did not see this coming. I never, ever have a good read on Northwestern
